Beatitudes Op. 47

This piece written for SATB contains solos for the soprano and tenor. Commissioned by the Rev. Dr P. C. Moore for the choir of Pershore Abbey and first performed at the Festival there in 1964, this anthem is a simple treatment ofthe text for soprano or tenor soloists. It appeared as a Musical Times supplement in 1964.
