Build Your Range is a practical approach to building range and endurance to suit the current demands of all trumpet players. These ten studies are designed to help build range and endurance, as well develop time and pitch with the accompanying play-along (included with purchase).

This book will help you gain a strong upper-register and ability to hit high notes, one of the most sought out tasks by trumpet players. As an added bonus, Augie Haas warm-up is also included. Augie Haas currently lives in New York City where he is a professional trumpeter, composer, and teacher.

As one of the most in demand trumpet players in New York, Augie has been playing with artists including: Maria Schneider, Village Vanguard Orchestra, Gil Evans Project, Birdland Big Band, various Broadway shows, and the Radio City Orchestra. He is also a member of Harry Connick Jr.s band. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Augie earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies at Roosevelt Universitys Chicago College of the Performing Arts. After Chicago, he went on to The University of Miamis Frost School of Music Conservatory for a Masters in Studio Music and Jazz finishing with a Doctorate in Musical Arts. While in Miami, Augie performed, toured and recorded for a wide range of artists including: Pitbull, Lenny Kravitz, Shakira, Rihanna, Paul Anka, and Arturo Sandoval. His national TV credits include; American Idol, The Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the TODAY show.

Augie has also made numerous guest appearances performing the National Anthem at Lambeau Field for the Green Bay Packers and Miller Park for Milwaukee Brewers, co-hosted Milwaukees The Morning Blend, and has performed for numerous celebrity hosted events.

Augie has released four albums under his co-founded label Playtime Music: The Llama, Doing it Augie Style, Baby Jazz and most recently his debut solo album Endless, featuring all original compositions. Most recently he published his first book entitled Build Your Range.
