Manzara means "landscape" in Turkish. The work describes a quarry landscape in Rhineland-Palatinate that has been transformed into a wild landscape during the 150 years of peat mining. Various musical elements such as fugues and rhythmic figures as well as beautiful melodies describe some aspects of the development and events of this region.
