The aim of this book is to take the player from scratch up to approximately Grade III standard in as short and pleasant a way as possible. Throughout the book a strong emphasis is placed on the importance of rhythm and counting. Each lesson includes duets in which the teacher' s part encourages the pupil to develop the correct "feel" for the music. lntroducing the Clarinet is one of the few methods which has been written by a professional clannettist who has also had great experience in teaching at alllevels.
