Volume 2 requires good note-reading, a distinct sense of rhythm and basic knowledge of music theory. Also in pedal playing, basic techniques – which were taught in volume 1 – will be further deepened.

Through attractive lecture pieces and interesting exercises, further technical skills, suggestions for improvisation and music theoretical knowledge are now taught. Mixed articulation techniques, cultivated legato playing and an introduction to ornamentation will be developed.
