Axel Schüler, who works as a lecturer for Latin percussion at the University for Music and Theatre in Leipzig, also leads numerous workshops and guest lectures at universities and academies. He gained his practical experience through his work with numerous percussion projects and salsa and Latin jazz bands (for example, with ‘Nyuto’, ‘Songo Azul’ feat. Santiago Nani Rodriguez (Cuba) and Luis ‘Betun’ Valiant in the BuenaVista Social Club).
