Program music composed by Dany Nussbaumer and the short Christmassy story by Louis Waltham that inspired it. The piece recalls the times when people used to sit around at Christmas and tell each other stories. The short story itself could therefore be recited onstage to the audience by a narrator. Following this, the orchestra could play the piece.
