Concertante Ouverture

This fantastic overture of the Belgian composer Jef Maes formed the end work of Georges Moreau, in the same class as Jan Van der Roost. Virtuoso passages alternate with rich instrumented melodic fragments and thereby create a wide symphonic sound image.
