I'm So Excited

The pastor's daughters Ruth, Anita and June Pointer from California learned singing in their father's church in the 1960s. In the early 1970s they entered the music business and proved their skills in many styles - including rhythm & blues, jazz and country. The international fame, however, came at the beginning of the 80s with its soul-like pop music. A huge hit was I'm So Excited, still a success on all dance floors today. This lively arrangement for concert band certainly causes a stir - the "excitement" promised in the title!
