Buffalo Bill takes us on a journey into the world of 19th century American pioneers, cowboys and Native Americans in a musical fresco. It combines an evocative melody with a majestic theme and a faster section that plunges us into the middle of a buffalo hunt.

The work was commissioned by the Orchestre d'harmonie de Montrouge from France, the city where Buffalo Bill performed during the 1889 World's Fair and where the Buffalo district still exists today.
