Since its composition in France in the 1920s, Otche nash (Our Father) by Nikolai Kedroff, Sr. (1871-1940) has become one of the most-beloved settings of the Lord’s Prayer among both Russians and non-Russians.

Departing from the tradition of singingthis prayer congregationally, this composition expresses the meditative and deeply devotional aspects of this moment in the Orthodox Divine Liturgy. (Also available in its original voicing for mixed choir.)
