This Celebration for Brass Quintet was arranged from a larger work entitled Divertimento for Violins and Cellos. Driving scalar passages and energetic rhythms are used to propel this piece. Donald Coakley's graceful writing is present and Celebration has been suitably adapted for brass instruments.
