Saisons

It might seem rather ambitious to attempt to depict the stupendous cycle of the seasons in only 12 minutes! The piece consists of four scenes which evoke in turn the majestic strength of the yellowing autumn trees, the hibernation of seeds and bulbs in winter, the explosive rebirth of life in the spring and finally the sumptuous splendour of summer.

These four movements lead into each other with no break.
