Descrizione
Heute wird insbesondere das 1750 komponierte „a-moll-Konzert“ häufiger gespielt. Das „Konzert in B-dur Wq 171“ schrieb C. Ph. E. Bach vermutlich als letztes der kleinen Werkgruppe 1753 in Potsdam am Hof Friedrichs des Großen. Die Umarbeitungen für Flöte oder Cembalo entstanden nur wenig später. Die verschiedenen Quellen belegen, dass das Werk in der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts durch Abschriften verbreitet wurde.
