The composer Barbara Arens writes in her brief Foreword -

I’ve been told a great number of times that I have produced so much piano music that no one can keep track of it all! ;)

So here I’ve selected some of my favourite pieces from my independently published books – not from my books published by Breitkopf & Härtel, Editions Musica Ferrum and Editions Stretta.

These personal favourites have been put into 3 separate books sorted roughly by level of difficulty. All pieces can be heard on my Youtube channel.

There are some fun & flashy pieces : Rhapsody, Fountains of Rome by Night, Toccata for S.; very lyrical pieces: Souvenir de voyage, Juliet; pieces which explore the colours of the piano: Koi, Dreamcatcher...
